We planned to perform a PoSR consensus upgrade at block height 974868 which approximately time will be 22:16:11, 8th May 2022 (UTC+8).

The content of this upgrade:

Optimize the calculation formula of PoSR rewards with an additional judgment value: of 100PB.

a) When the total storage of the entire network (after calculation) is < 100 PB, 100 PB is used as the denominator for reward calculation and the unallocated UTG rewards of the day will enter the burn address;

b) When the total storage of the entire network (after calculation) is ≥100 PB, the actual storage amount will be used as the denominator of the calculation.

E.g.

a) The total storage of entire network is 19PB, the reward of pledge address A with 80TB storage space is:

80/102400 (take 100 PB=102400 TB as the denominator)

b) The total storage of entire network is 300PB, the reward of pledge address A with 80TB storage space is:

80/307200 (take the actual storage amount of 300 PB=307200 TB as the denominator)
